Congratulations to the North County Cobras...
This past weekend The 2008 North County Cobras made their mark in Cobra History ..
The North County Cobras have been in existance for about 5 years, year in and year out the Cobras have made it to the playoffs only to end thier season after the first round.
This years team led by Head Coach Tony Vinson, seem to turn a little more than heads dawning new black and orange uniforms, they are grabbing the attention of everyone week by week The Cobras inched thier way win by win, ending the 2008 LCFL West regular season, at an amazing 10-0 ans LCFL WEST South Division Champions..
On October 4th The Cobras stepped ont the field to take on the California Raiders, wondering if this would be like every other playoff game were the Cobras go home ?
Well not this year, the Cobras beat the Raiders 5-0 , a safety by the Cobra (Darkside) Defense, and a field goal by Luke Liberty help secure a first ever playoff win for the North County Cobras... This Sunday the Cobras will be playing for the South/East Conference taking on the San Diego Thunder. The first meeting between these two powerhouses left the Thunder taking thier first LCFL West loss by a deficet of 16-6.. This will be a good game as the Thunder try to avenge thier loss .
